What concerts have you gone to lately?

My wife brought me home Tool tickets, which was pretty cool of her. She completly surprised me, I was listening on the radio and they had said they sold out in 3 hours. I nearly had heart failure when she told me, I love that band. I only wish I had a chance to see A Perfect Circle when they were out :/

I also went to Big Day Out a few months back. There were a bunch of biggies there like crystal method, prodigy, New Order (an old fav. of mine), Garbage, S.O.A.D., A.A.F., Basement Jaxx, and a bunch of others. If only I had remembered my sun screen, I would have had a better recovery time :P In anycase, it was quite an experience.

Now that I think about it, the last actual concert I went to see was a Bob Dylan one two years ago. :eek:

We really need more entertainment around here.

I live in a ----hole of a town that bands are afraid to come to (Except redneck country bands that suck), and I lack the initiative to travel 4+ hours to a town that bands actually go to.
In other words... no real concerts lately.

I just performed in one last Saturday--I played in two pieces by James Swearingen, both w/soli ["multi-section solos"] and a composition of some 15 patriotic songs called the Spirit of '76.

Some good Canadiand bands...the Headstones, etc.

I'm going to see Weezer soon, and I'm going to Warped, solely to see Bad religion


I haven't been to any concerts recently, but I have seen some kick --- bands in the past couple of years. AFI, NOFX, Rancid

Collective Soul was ok...I saw the Smashing Pumkins on their last ever tour, and I saw A Perfect Circle at that same tour. It was sweet.

all the bands that come to where i live, either play in bars and u have to be 21 to get in or somewhere u have to pay a ton to get in:(
