So they'll now be called AMD Radeon Gfx cards? Pfft, I prefer NVIDIA to be honest.

Same here, NVIDIA > ATI.

I never thought much of the cheap ATI cards, nvida have been better.
But iv always got budget ones..
cant speak for advanced.
I dont see it improving sales tbh.
People buy the best bang for buck, majority of the people that buy gfx cards do their research first and are "open minded".
Well I am anyway, if intel have a better CPU than AMD I go intel and vice. same gos with everything else.

That's interesting to hear, however I own a ATI Radeon and so far love it. It's a little outdated, so I think my next card is either going to be the 6x series or a nVidia card. I had a nVidia card before (9500 GT) but it was total garbage.

PS3 has better graphics than Wii / 360, and it has an 8 year old nvidia card.

I wasn't bashing nVidia, but the card I had wasn't made for gaming and I made the bad decision of buying it.

I tend to stick with Intel CPUs and Nvidea GPUs regardless of which line has the better price or performance. It's just me, I've been using those two with good results for a long time.

AMD Processors and nvidia GPUs actually go well together in comparison to ATI and AMD.

I got the 9500GT, but I dont game, most iv ever done was play GTA4 and Lib stories.
It worked well enough for all that so yeah...
If they ever release some hardcore games that take things to new levels, I might get back to gaming, but tbh I am over the same old crap...
One day they will have like a everything possible game, you run in to a wall it well smash and stay smashed, you do a burn out and it will stay there.
You will be able to do everything like IRL.
Then ill come back to gaming. :P

Oh, I forgot to mention, the PS3's nvidia chip is heavily based on the nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX (aka G70.)
