I'm looking for linux (besides mandrake) that i can learn how to use *nix type PC, im a script kiddie and i need to learn, i heard slackware and suse were good, any others?

also redhat isnt my fav choice

well, i dont want to try redhat right now, besides linuxiso is slow for downloads...

all you have to do is download them and there are directions on how to burn them with different burning software right on their site

For a newbie, I'd recommend Mandrake or SuSE.

Slackware will take you longer to learn, but it's more powerful after you learn it.

I heard Slackware / Debian are good.... I use mandrake but it is too userfriendly

I aslo heard slackware you need to do everything manualy... this will help me learn.
