Where you live, at what age must one be if one desires to purchase, or consume alcoholic beverages?
In other words what is the legal drinking age, and what are your views regarding it.
it is 19 here, soon to be lowered to 18.

your size suggests that you can tank a lot back.

Whatever time period you want. I can drink 10 beers in an hour easily. I funneled two 40's at once without stopping.
My record for beers in one night is 46. 11th grade.

You'd probably out-drink me.
10 beers in an hour wouldn't be too much of a problem for me either. it would be keeping that up for a few hours that would be.

I don't drink much now anyways, mostly because of my high tolerance. I might buy a 1/5th of Bacardi 151 and drink it over a week's time, just me, but thats not much at all.

Though the laws aren't followed, the police here do not like to see drunks in the street, and brutality usually occurs.
I drink a little bit a wine, mainly because of where I am from... in Spain it is customary to drink wine with a meal.

Umm, here in Texas...21 to buy, 10 to drink (with legal guardian) :D
Actually I think it's that way in almost any state. You can drink at any age if you are in a legal guardian's presence. I always start a kid drinking at age 5. At that age, they cant stand the taste and learn to hate the smell. Keep in mind though, in what years do most kids learn lifelong habits, likes, dislikes, etc? Right around the age 5. That is what my father did, and it accomplished what he set out to do. Later on in teen years when friends tried to pressure me, I hated beer so much that I had no problem telling them where to go. My dislike of the beer and it's smell was stronger than the peer pressure. So far it looks like it's working on my kids too..... I dont want to bury them when they hit 17...
I drink now once in a while.. but it's nothing that could ever become addictive to me. I can drink a 12 pack at a club...but have had a 12 pack in my fridge for over 6 months now..LOL For some reason I just cant stand the smell and taste of beer anywhere except a nightclub..

I was in in Colorado one time and was riding a horse by a stream. I figured what the hell, I dont drink that beer......I know what's in that water, I put it there.
I figure that I pee in the water, it flows downstream, and then they make Coors out of it. Then others drink the Coors, pee in the water, it flows downstream to Mexico, and they make Corona out of it! :D
Now Gayowolf knows why it tastes like urine...though it would be interesting to know how you know what urine tastes like.... and I dont know what you have had your nose in to think the beer smells even remotely like it... so that reason is out the window..LOL

I refuse to buy alcohol for my under-18 friends that ask me to get it for them.
