Of course I checked http://www.freewebspace.net/cgi-bin/db2/db.cgi?sb=1&so=ascend&view_records=1&Language=Spanish&Location=---&Space=%3E0.0&Adtype=---&mh=50 for a spanish webspace provider but found none who "seems" to be fine.
Aldea seems to be slow and has a lot of adult ads. CiudadDigital probably has no ftp access, although mentioned in the list. Ciudad futura has no ftp. civitatis has moved and at the new webspace I did not find free webspace. demasiado offers free email, but I could not find free webspace. Where to register at gaps, after you got your number, I also did not find out. At iespana I made a testpage and I have problems to transfer folders via ftp. Metropoli2000 was discussed in this forum and I think this is not the right for me. personal put 3-4 ads on my testpage.
So the rest is fortunecity (at freewebspace a banner is mentioned, but I saw sites with popups too) pais virutal, starmedia and maybe vavo (popup?)
Of course I do not want to try every free webspace provider. So I would be happy if someone could give me some advice what I should check?
Thanks
Albert
