The purpose of the forum is to increase and exchange knowledge. If you don't think it's worth the effort then simply don't visit this forum!

BTW, you may change and delete the content of your own posts.

When it comes to the moderators, I sort of agree. They tend to move the talk more off-topic than neccessary.

But also, without members there are no forum! :-)

I mean, you were asking about something illegal! Heck, all the mod did was close your thread (http://freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=2274), he didn't insult you did he? Did he email you threats or viruses? Don't think so...

Mind you, we don't talk about illegal stuff here, or else we'll have people talking about and asking for warez and cracks and hacks everyday... Peo wouldn't want that here.

If you were to ask something intelligent, then you'll prolly get more help than you might think you'll recieve. If you're requesting for something outrageously stupid, like a fwp for illegal stuff...... what happened will happen!

I suppose you can just abandon your account if you don't want it anymore

OK, i read the thread and i've read it before. That was a stupid thread, yes. It won't suit on THIS forum but there are forums that are warez and hacks forums!

If I were you I would have turned the question, "does anyone know of a forum where they talk warez?"

Now, i'm just a member like anyone else here but I truelly doubt that thread would be closed. Sort of point you to where to discussed a topic that's not suited here!

huh? how, what rule did i violate? let's see:
1. Spam and referral links are not allowed. You can not promote your own website here. And you're not allowed to post a URL where you get money or some type of compensation by referring others. It is however ok to post your website URL in your profile or in your signature.
2. Personal attacks are not allowed. This includes harassments, flames, trolling and other forms of annoying behaviour.

ok. #5 almost makes it. mind you, i did not ask "how do you make your mp3/wma/whatever files look innocent" (although this was very explicitly expressed on this very forum), i just asked WHAT FWP WOUOLD NOT CARE WHAT IS STORED ON IT, sort of freediskspace.com type. so it isn't #5. well well?

therefore i want to terminate my membership in here. period.

If I were you I would send a mail to the host or admin. Remember, I can't speak for the forum, i can only speak for myself. Rules are made to break, but still, that's more like nettiquette...

Why do you argue with me? I tried to help you... Have you tried Hotline? Hotline communities are nothing but warez dudes and you can find ANYTHING, and I mean really anything you can ever think of, using Hotline. (it's scary...)

Times changes but it used to be that way when I used it.

That will never happen, trust me! Peolple just don't "get banned" for no obvious reason...

I don't know why they have all these rules, I guess there is a point, someone might sue them(?) The main rule over all is nettiquette and if this forum were run by me i wouldn't ban you.

I think it's ok to make misstakes, that's not a reason to ban people. After all, theyre members and with no members there are no commmunity...

If you want to get banned, try this: start ten new threads in every topic and neme them something like "help me host warez".

To be banned you'll need to be a pain in the --- and if you stick with this thread you won't... your "pain" will only affect this thread (wich, btw, is *damn* off-topic) and no other...

I don't ban people for not understanding the rules of the forum, I just help them off into the right direction. Banning people is not the objective.

If anyone knows of a warez board that he can go to to find the answer to his other question, please shoot him an email. It just can't be discussed here...
