The green on the very right, imo, is too dark (but, again, thats m.o.)

i agree. here's why: the green on the left fades to a lighter shade. that lighter shade should be the shade of green used on the right so that it is consistent.

How's that now? I changed the background like you both suggested and I also try my best to optimize the graphics without losing quality.
