What free program would you people recommend as an FTP server.

I mean like a server so i can give people accounts, and they upload stuff to my computer.

no i mean a program i can download to this computer to turn it into an FTP server, like apache turns it into a HTTP server if you know what i mean.

Search Tucows for "CesarFTP" It is freeware, and it works on 95/98/2000/XP I have been using it for 6 months and I recommend it.

Gene6 FTP..aint no moafuqq'n' ftp server daemon beat that..tiz the best..best gui, best security..

also get some of the addons...like mIRC addon to display..ehh uhh you know..just get it

legally yes it is because if u download it from serv-u.com then u automatically get the pro version and then it starts disabling features as time goes on and it will simply dwindle away features until u get the personal version. with personal u can only have 1 person logged on at a time but it is free.

I use WS_FTP LE which you can download for free. It is pretty simple to use.

if ur using linux go with ProFTPD
if windows , War FTP
