I know this is a lame questions but I am having trouble with my new redesign...
I have a table in the center, and lets say it is only 40 pixels wide and I write
hello ssaf;lksadfsafdlh
it keeps expanding the table, instead of going
hello
ssaf;lksadfsafdlh
how do I fix this

Uhh no, I don't want to have to keep putting breaks in my text, especially since that is where I am installing my news script. Anyway, I figured it out, I had to put the proper width in my <td> not my <table>
THanks anyway

I had this problem too, a long with <DIV> tags with width, and Justified Text as well. The trick is, when you type in
asdfasdfsadf:ASdfkoasdfm;wefdsfsaf
or something similar the browser reads that as one word. Since browsers don't hyphenate words they wont break it, and will just increase the cells/DIV's width. if you type in
asdf asdf asdf asdf asdf
with the spaces it should seperate back out. The alloted number of width will hold stable.
To Make It Simple : Don't use a huge, one line word.

I got it all figured out but if you want to see what I was screwing with. It was trying to keep the table of the iframe of this http://www.guitarnerd.com/index1.html from expanding when I would have the news script would be updates.

Wow! So Notepad autoindent now. Where can I get this upgrade? :biggrin2:
If you don't know your tables are broken.

BTW, why don't you get rid of that darn pop-up? It has stopped your page from loading everytime I've clicked your link. Since it's so slow I hardly think you will make anything from it anyway.

I'll be making enough, normally I get 100-150 hits a day, once I get the new stuff up, I am expecting easily 1000. Soon to be more. So lets say 500 people see it a day=$1.50 x 30 = $45 a month, I can save up for stuff.

that blue text on the main page is horible...
i suggest make a new background in photoshop and make the opitcy like 60% and make the background color black, then make your main text color white or #CCCCCC

guitarnerd, you said you would change host becauase your page loaded so slow. It isn't your host - it's the pop-up. It stops the whole page from loading.

Oh and I haven't had any problems with the banner stopping the page from loading that is odd, I might go to a different CPM but I am counting on the to support the price to rent out a space maybe at a data center or off someones T1
