search in the computer forum about how to set up your own server, that will help

for a web server your best choice is to get apache (http://www.apache.org) (or something like foxserv (http://foxserv.linuxmax.net/portal.php) if you want all the scripting and database support without configuring anything yourself)...
donīt blame me if you have any trouble with foxserv though... :)

dhs.org will give out a subdomain and allow you to set up a server to host yourself, they just need an IP.

Heh, yes, you could use your computer's IP, however note that there isn't another way you could do it. ;)
