Coca-Cola tastes horrible. I mean, you can use it to take the rust off metal, clean your toilet, or disolve a nail, but I wouldn't drink it. Pepsi tastes better.

Coke is the better company. Pepsi treats their employees like crap. And their bottled water...straight out of the faucet. After I quit OTR truck driving, I worked at a pepsi plant as a local temp driver. I wish the FDA would catch them when they spill a barrel and send the spills thru a strainer and can it. Yeah, I'm sure it has all kinds of interesting flavors to it. So if you ever drink some and it perhaps has kind of a bubble gum flavor to it.....

As far as soda goes, I prefer A&W root beer.

I don't know who's worst, but from what I've read the Coca Cola company (and it's local distributors) is the company with the most murdered union leaders and union members in the world. Colombia and Guatemala being two of those countries where employes who are union members have been systematicly murdered (Panamco is the name of it's local distributor in Colombia). Some have been forced to leave the union to keep their jobs by being harassed, threatened, attacked, tortured etc.

Lawsuits are currently pending in Florida and Colombia.

Well... Brazil should be the one to blame for that. Why I say Brazil is it has the most problems, but you have to realize these countries don't have a choice. Brazil could collapse if it didn't cut down rainforest. If I were them I would diversify the economy.

The Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), Ejercito Liberacion Nacional (ELN, I think that is what it stands for) and AUC (Paramilitary Group) are responsible for the killings of these union leaders. But now apparently everybody is voting for Uribe, an conservative radical who is vowing to use military force to crush all rebel groups. So the murdering of union officials may end soon at least in that country.

Okay, so it could collapse? I'm puzzled.

I remember when conker in another discussion stated nearly the same thing. Brazil's economy would collapse if they were to enforce a logging ban. But, you quickly dismissed it saying he didn't know anything. Rather, it would not collapse and Brazil is heavily into manufacturing.

Do you just like to make contrarian posts?

No you are incorrect and I don't contradict myself, I might of messed up my wording a bit though. Their economy is still boasted heavily by agiculture... it still accounts for much of their workforce.

No. You said that they rely on other industries.

Look at the 8th post down

"That tells people how much you know about them.

That is not true. Brazil relies on the Automotive and Manufacturing industry, not the logging industry. Agriculture is also decreasing quite rapidly, as Brazil moves completely towards Manufacturing and services sectors."
