i found a program at downloads.com
called
SWF Browser 2.93

Description
SWF Browser is a handy tool for anyone who uses Macromedia's Flash. It has an Explorer-like interface that lets you quickly browse the SWF files on your hard drive or network. It also gives you ways of browsing an SWF file's "guts." Finally, you can extract bitmaps, sounds, and movie clips from the file. Note that although SWF Browser can extract movie clips and unlock SWFs, Flash's support for importing SWFs is limited.
Note: A nag screen pops up when the unregistered program is started. Registration costs $25.

Recording it would lose little quality, but I doubt you would notice a difference if you had a decent sound card and cables. And don't say a flash file cause there are different formats, say .swf which is the exported completed file or the file type that flash saves projects as (I forgot the extension name) I would just record it with your internal recorder/player, you shouldn't lose quality that way.
