account was deleted & I asked why and they replied:
"Either a section one or section 7 breach of the terms and conditions. "
(they don't know which??)
So anyone I read section I & 7 and the only thing I can see is they state they can deleted an accont for any reason at their sole discretion!
Avoid Sphosting - they are game players

What did your site have on it?

We removed your account becuase we found a breach, we remove allot of accounts for allot of breaches. We do not keep on record why accounts are removed becuase of the volume of accounts we remove for breaking our terms and conditions.
The most common reasons why accounts are removed are listed in sections 1, 6 and 7 of the terms and conditions. We call these our removal terms, Some of the other terms also cover removal reasons but are not used often except for section 2 and 3 which are sometimes used, However a majority of our accounts are removed because of section 1 and 6 breaches.
We will remove an account for a minor breach of these terms, linking to such content that breaches these rules is grounds for removal.
We have over 10,000 active users who seem to be able to abide by our simple terms and conditions. Our terms and conditions are allot easier to understand then say tripod or geocities. We will only remove and account for a breach of these conditions.
If you fell that your account was removed by mistake please email your files to admin@sphosting.com and I will personally look at your website and tell you if it was a section 1 or section 7 breach.

From Sphosting's fuctup TOS
7) Sphosting.com reserves the right to delete any page it deems unacceptable for any reason without prior notice. These include, Excessive Server Load & Excessive Bandwidth Usage, Or excessive impressions/visits.
So you're telling me that if a site gets popular, you wont host it? That is the most stupid thing I've ever heard.

I'd guess (and hope) they'd only do that if it was using 30gb + month.
If any site is getting that sort of hits they should look into paying for hosting.

Is it a non-american hosting company or are kids running it? Spelling leaves a lot to be desired.
Sounds to me like whatever you don't like or have a "personal problem with" you'll remove. And, to make users more happy you should at least keep a record of why you deleted their account -- for a couple days, maybe a week at least.

Sorry about the spelling when your typing a reply at 4am in the morning....... : )
As for keeping a record of an account, such as files, and information, we would like to do that and have requested it be done in the next release of the software we use.
All accounts are removed for good reasons. If we find the content to be of a suspicious nature we will remove it, Like many hosts do. If you use to much bandwidth we will remove your account, like any other host does.
Its our server its our choice what websites we want to host. We have operated under these rules and policies since day one and have never had a problem. This is actually the first negative post I have ever seen about sphosting.
Your can say that I'm a 13year old, but I'm not and no one here at sphosting.com is. Just because your don't get your own way you throw a tantrum and pull out the old 13year trick.
Well it doesn't work on me and it never will. It takes allot of guts to work in this industry especially in fwp's, you get allot of criticism from people, you can tell who the 10 and 12 year olds by the way they word their e-mails with the famous f and s words all over the place and even the occasional, k word with a f word in front combo.
The phone calls are also nice, I never go a day without having someone on the phone swearing at me because I removed his account because it was a warez site or contained a to z listing of mp3 files.
Your not in business to make friends. Is a famous saying that I go by and it has always worked. You don't make friends. You make enemies.
If you still have a problem with the way we do business complain to the NSW Fair Trading Department.
If you want to have another go at us post below. You could always call me on 61 0413365734 and abuse me over the phone, its more personal. I look forward to your call, post or email. If you really want to you can email me get our office address and come by and we can meet in person to discuss sphosting.com's rules.
If you find this post in any way offencive please email me with your concerns.
I know this sounds personal and it is. Working the hours I do you become attached to your job and any slander towards sphosting.com is taken personally.

He's not saying that at all. That's a perfectly reasonable standard. He just doesn't want the next Download.com to go in and use a terabyte of transfer in a day. It can happen; one time when I was sick in bed, someone got in and used 2 mb per second of transfer for a day before I was strong enough to get out of bed and onto the computer.

I apologize...Thank you for explaining :) I understand your views..just trying to get some straightforward answers, 'cause you can't believe anything everyone says, or what everyone has said in the past.
I bet your rules are easy to follow, am I right?
Best of luck to your FWP. :)
