why is it whenever i press prt screen, or alt prt screen that the WMP screen goes black and i cant get a proper screen of it?

i have tried let it play and press PrtS, and pause it and press it, no idea why.. its annoying i need to get a screen of something so i can edit it and put it on my site

have you trieed re installing it i think a file or something has become corrupt
that should solve the problem

many people have this problem of not being able to take a screen shot of it

I'd say it could be one of two things, microsoft doesn't want you to take screen shots possibly cause of copyright crap (probably not but hey you never know with microsoft) or I would say it is because the visualazations use the same driver or something as the screen shot does

Wow.. this is very weird/cool.

I print screened while a video was playing in WMP and pasted it into paint... I left the video in WMP running... and in paint the video in the IMAGE was playing. So paint was playing a video, except when I paused WMP, the image in paint paused and when I exited WMP, in paint where the movie was playing, it went black.

What the hell!!! It happens even in PSP, I paste the image and the image is playing!!! :confused2 And when I take a screenshot of the screenshot that is playing and paste it, that is playing too.... bah, this is too weird for me.

That is extremely weird. Maybe it is because the visualazations on WMP are just photos that when the audio plays at a certain decibal the programming tells it so show one of the images, so it can't take a screen shot cause it is calling multiple images so when the screen shot is "shot" and loaded into the ram it is constantly changing the saved file in the ram???

You cannot take a screenshot of a movie file.

There are programs that will do it for you though.
