multiple ftp accounts

why would someone need more than one ftp account, what do you use the others for?

Sometimes parts of a site are controlled by differnt people, and you wouldn't want to give them full access to the root of the site, but they do need to log in and make additions/modifications to the part of the site they are responsible for.
