I found a way to keep your trial for ever? This feature is only availiable on WindowsXP. Try the program untill it expires. Then :
Right Click on a shortcut - Goto Tab Compitability - Choose a different Operating System.
I tried it at a program. It expired at Windows XP, put it in Windows 98 used it and rechange it at WindowsXP and have again 30 days trial . Microsoft Help Us :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

That feature is on Win2k and it won't work with most programs because it will say. Something like...
"Trial can not be used" because the registry changed

Yes it is you can run compatibilty layers on windows 2000, I am currently on windows 2000, right click on an icon on your desktop even if its a short cut and hit properties and the tab farthest to the right should say compatibility and then it will allow you to select a layer

I'm running Win2k Pro and I don't have it. The only two tabs I have are General and Shortcut.
