Hi everyone! My question is: What type of ads are your priority on your website?
Being a part of a pay per e-mail company, I'm especially interested in seeing where that fits into your ad priority ranking.
Thanks, and all comments are welcome! :D

ad priority, pardon my lack of knowledge, but do you mean size or conetent wise?
Size: were working with 468 x 60 banners, normal, no pop ups
We are testing those skyscrapers on some hostee's, they are doing quite well, with the advertisers that use them to their advantage!
Content: always looking for the flashy, banners that attraction attention of teenagers (not adult banners though of course) "free games" "XBox" "Gamecube" any type of that stuff usually does will ctr wise. Those javascript games do VERY well also, geez. We must have like 200 clicks a day on zap the monkey ;)
I dunno if that can answer your question about "ad priority" but you weren't getting many leads, so I figured I'd reply ;)
ps, we are not working with email at this point. It may be an interesting tool in later future....

I was thinking more of content than size, although I'd like to hear about that too. Maybe a better way of putting it would be, what type of ads are the biggest money makers on your site and why? Thanks for replying! :cool2:

on my site, gaming network, biggest ctr is the flashy banners that entice the viewer with free offers.
No, not the "singles network" and nope, not the "free degree online" but the "if this banner is flashing you've won" or the "Get free stuff"
summing up, best way to get my viewers is to do the same thing commercials do on the tv. grab the attention, use some sort of catchy phraze, and entice them for more ;)

Popunders are my main source of revenue, cpc banners rate next.

Per sale programs are my main source of income.
After that there's CPA (leads, registrations), CPC, ad sales/"private deals", coregs, pops, 2nd tiers, etc and a little CPM waaaay down there at the bottom :)
As for types of ads "contentwise" that are my biggest money makers - I personally make the most money with the stuff that converts (sells) well to a general audience. (Unfortunately there are very few of these, but they do exist)
I have a bunch of sites on different topics, and on some I do better with targeted/"high-value" ads than with "general appeal" ads - but most of my income comes from "general appeal" stuff that people buy/sign-up/click on impulse (such as the type of content you have, FocaCraig :)
In other words, in a priority ranking you're well off in my book having a high-converting general appeal program :) I'm actually planning to focus more on your program than I've done in a little while :)
