I would like to install an ikonboard on my website, but I am not sure what server would be the best for hosting it.

http://www.netfirms.com but be aware they have a huge banner on top of every page but it's also really really fast! ;)

I've got one on datablocks. FTP is a little slow, but the pages themseleves load fast. Pretty Good though, for no ads.

i can't get cgi to work on netcabins for the life of me. emailed tom, said it got fixed. still don't work.

I've never had any problems with NetCabins CGI. Once when I had a personal site the server erased my link tracking data, but ever since it's been a smooth experience. My site, xtSeven Network, runs about ~15 scripts and I have no problems at all.

Your site's hosted by NetCabins? Did you actually pay to get rid of their banner or something? I don't see one on your site.

We haven't started placing ads yet. We ran popups for a couple weeks around Christmas, but we have turned those back off to finish developing our ad system.

try looking in ikonboard's forums, I think there's a section that lists a lot of ikonboard-friendly FWPs.
