Well it started 2 years ago after another community site got hacked and taken offline. We have slowly built it to a chatsite of 4 rooms with over 600 members. It's just meant as a safe fun place to chat and an alternative to yahoo where your bombarded with adverts of porn or requests for CyberSex. We've added some sections to the site like horoscopes and im sure if you read them you'll notice that they are meant more for a laugh.

People tend to login from work and just chillout and share jokes and stories about life, it's a laid back place. Some people ask why we use a cgi chat, Well thats also because people at work are sometimes blocked from using irc channels, people on webtv can use these rooms even people using lynx browsers.

Panther Piss is an addon that we made for the room, Giving everyone html access would just about lead to total chaos in the rooms. They would be slow and im sure full of porno pictures :D. So to manage this we sell html privledges to people to support the site we have about 80 people who purchase the html addon, the name well that was born from a joke and has since stuck.

also why not php? cgi does tend to take up lots of resources

Yes i made the design using PaintShop Pro 7.04 and notepad.

Youd actually be suprised but the script we use, with 60 people init uses around 0.15 of cpu. Which is good and it's on it's own server.

also where did you get that version of tforum? i looked on the tf hacks page no luck, i would like to try it out, i always liked tforum even tho it has very little features, that looks better (saw the extra features on your forum page)

Well the version i am using is Edition b0.92 but i have tweaked it heavily and added stuff that isn't in any of the releases. If you go through the tforumhacks forums you will find most of the hacks. However a few were made by me and not released :) TForum is good once you customise it but out of the box it looks nasty.

What do you mean no background color/image? we did try it with a gray background but i'm not too sure yet. I'm open to ideas to improve it though :)

Well the new edition has most of the addons, The little ones like highlighting the admins in the users list is a small add-on which i doubt will ever be added to the full version.

I'm sure i could zip my forums up for you though if you want?

PSP has about 20 more options than Adobe PhotoShop. PSP is better, if you know how to use it. Adobe is the same. Damn paradox.
