I'm fast loosing support for Tera-Byte. Tell me, what are your opinions on Myacen? The Ecommerce plan, particularly. How long have they been in business, how stable have they been, any praise or horror stories you care to share?
If you don't suggest them, who else would you recommend with a similar package to Myacen's Ecommerce?

Well, they've been around for just a little over a year now. They did have a short bad spell, but that was mostly the fault of Rackshack. Overall, the service is reliable and the support is prompt. You definately can't complain for the price they charge.

Our new servers are away from Rackshack, and have proved highly successful thus far :). If your not happy after our initial 30 day period, we can offer a full refund.

My opinion: too expensive for a Rackshack host.

I didn't think they used Rackshack anymore...
Anyway, anyone else have a comment to make?

I wondered that too Robert. Some people seem to read the first post and hit the reply button, without bothering to read further to see if the question was answered. :confused2

CPanel is awful, i have that on one of my hosting accounts i think it's one of the worst panels around.

I don't think cpanel is that bad. I'm with phenominet internet solutions, they don't have a panel, but their service is awesome.
Cpanel is the mostly widely used one although through demos, I'd say I perfer websphere.

What exactly do you mean by "prompt" support? I asked a few questions earlier and still haven't been answered. I know it's the weekend and all, but they do advertise 24/7 support and it's already been nearly five hours... I am kinda in a hurry.

We used to have cpanel at burst 4.x, that was a shocking product. Bugs everwhere but cpanel have got their act togther and it seems as though most of the bugs that I remember have now been fixed.
They have added some new things to the control panel recently like hotlink protection which is great.

MyAcen?
I've been there only for 3 days. It was the time that MyAcen was having some problems with Racksack and I needed my website up as soon as possible so I had to leave.
But let me tell you this: although their hard time at that moment, MyAcen was there to offer support, and when I decided to leave, they issued a refund, without hassles.
MyAcen is definitely a very good host. If you are going to leave Tera-Byte, I suggest you host with MyAcen.

I think I am going to go with them once I persuade my parents to pay :D
EDIT: Do you need a credit card? It's going to be very hard to persuade them if this is the case :confused2
