I am looking for a UK Host with the following...

50-100Mb Space
PHP, MySQL, CGI
2-3GB Bandwidth

I am looking to pay no more then £30-£40/year

UK hosting is expensive due to high bandwidth costs. I don't think you will find any good ones within that price range. However, you can try searching http://www.bigbytes.co.uk to see if there are any ones there that are good.

i wish i could find a host that charges 30-40 dollars a year. well, anyways, i found a uk host with 100 mb, 3 gb transfer but it costs $15/monthly (you can pay by cheque). (http://www.globeserve.net/)

I think oneandone is actually hosted in germany, but they have an english alias (oneandone).

Clara.net is allright.

My company has a server in the UK and a server in the USA. We lease out our UK RaQ4 one to one company, as they use all of it. The USA server isnt actually that bad considdering it all the way accross the atlantic. Personally I dont see any performance difference. I can download at 60K/s from the USA one and 61/62 ish from the UK one. Only difference is in the pings - 160 USA, 40 UK :bandit2:

Once you find a company, do a few tracerts on them and see where they are actually located.
