A) Dont call your site BleedStreet Music.com, if it is not a .com.

B) Get a nicer, more organized layout. You just have stuff all over the place.

C) Your front page is way too slow, due to it's pictures and hafhazardous arangement.

D) Don't just mix everything around like that. Play it cool and organized, and don't clutter your page.

E) You may want to move hosts. Homestead sucks.

F) Get your own CGI/PHP guestbook.

bad navigation, its hard to notice where it is, and its kind of lame anyways. you should have another navbar.
oraganize it, its really messy
and get a color scheme.

Yes, you don't have a .com, so don't pretend that you do.

And the layout is way too messy, I suggest going to www.freewebtemplates.com and pick up something nice.

We are in the process of getting the .com so that will be taken care of shortly. Regarding templates all I know is what Homestead gives me. I saw a reply mentioning another template site. Do any of you know of anymore I can check out?

Being a musician for the last 20 years I am used to people either lovin' or hatin' what I do and I thank you for your time and honest critiques.

I went and downloaded a template

OK now what? How do I make changes. It has an IMAGES file, a read me file (which just says to insert my images into the Image file) and a file that shows the basic webpage. Remember I am a Homesteader and have only used there ready made stuff, all this stuff is new to me. Please give me STEP BY STEP instructions on how to customize the template. Thanks Bleed

That's pretty hard without knowing how homestead works. You would be better off saving your index file to your hard drive and working on it from there.

I notice that homestead still manages to crash Netscape :confused2

The site looks pretty good. Organization and navigation of the website could be better.

Keep working at it and get someone with some web page development experience to help you out.

You need to get a design, I don't consider what you have as a design. As in, making the home page maybe give a little information on what the site is, and maybe a news script or something, telling you what is new. A good navigation, and just good matching colors.
