Im looking for a php portal system not like nuke but like http://my.yahoo.com or http://www.ev1.net . where users can create an acct and can choose what is displayed on the page these 2 examples give you the option of clicking off a certain part so each user has a personalized start page kinda thing

I don't think that exists the script you need. The best thing to do is pay a programmer or you'll lose much time searching for a script (that I believe doesn't exist) or if you find a free one you'll lose much more time on corrections & modifications in order to fit your needs. So if you have the money go for paid.

im not losing anything time or money, I dont need it that bad to pay for it i have other options just wondering if anyone knew of one if not cool.

I've seen start page scripts before but nothing complex like what you're looking for. You'd probably have to either write that yourself or get someone else to write it for you.
