For some reason, politics slipped into my mind when I beat this game, and whilst I played. Hehe..whilst..
Example: you meet a ghoul by the name of Gordon in the town of Gecko. He tells you "greed is good" and that both Gecko and Vault City will benefit through greed - Gecko trades its excess power in exchange for medicine from Vault City. Gordon continues to spout about the goodness of greed, until he asks you if you would help him.
This is the classic bit - you can ask him if there's anything in it for you (following the "greed" theme of the conversation). When he tells you "no", you can shoot his theory into pieces by saying since there's no benefit for you (since you're greedy), Gecko can go to hell. Hence, greed is NOT good.
What is VERY interesting is that the ghoul's name is Gordon and he lives in Gecko.

Gordon lives in Gecko = Gordon Gekko. Get it? Get it!? Heh heh.
