FXP is probably not a common feature. So I think not many servers (if any at all) would have FXP support. Most hosts would rather give out CGI/SSI/PHP etc. as these are more tantalizing features. If I were you I would just host on Tripod as that is probably the only host with FXP.

FXP is loging in a ftp site and then loging into another ftp site and you an tell the first to transfer to the second. It is real nice when you have to move a whole site to a different server....

It works on portland.. I've been testing it all night, going at 130kb/s +
http://futurebeats.port5.com/fxp.zip
That's the domain I've been testing so hence it might hit it's 100mb limit, but for now..
There is no site there by the way ;D

The link I posted above is a good FXP program - indeed it is FlashFXP.
You can get it from Tucows or the link above.

Keep in mind Portland only has 100MBs bandwidth so don't expect to host a site with a lot of visitors.

Life would be more simple.... it would also be easier for warez and porn sites to move over to your server.

Yup, save a lot of upload bandwidth for the 'uploader'
doing an FXP uses only a few bytes of bandwidth - and are usually very fast.

15mb space limit - akk I've had over 200mb in my accounts before.
As for the 100mb bandwidth limit, again not in direct effect, transferred over 200mb in a month before, it only kicks in if you keep doing it.
