i need ideas!!

well my french teacher told my class that we have to do a speech....well i'm kinda stuck and i need ideas...would someone care to help?
it has to be good so that i can make a pretty long one cuz he wants me to write 10 lines just for the introduction!
i was thinkin of doin it on internet....so how many ppl do you think use the net?

WHy not do it on french culture, the eiffel tower, the metro, something related to france?

That would work. And you can also "base" your speech on previous French speeches.

Hmmm... well there's 1000 or so freewebspace.net users, and there is around 100,000 other sites with the same sort of traffic...

Europe looks like another 1-2 billion with umm 1/3 using the net. North America with 600million and about 1/2 using the net. Africa and South America are counted out. They have about 3-4billion.

That makes about... 300,000,000 + 300,000,000 + 100,000,000 (for Asia) = about 700 million . That's my guess.

I asked a friend on a chat and he guessed 200 million.

Well, that's exactly why I said about a billion... I was thinking that at LEAST 1/6 of the world's population are wealthy enough to afford internet access... 'course, that's just a guess, I dunno.

Most of the world is poor.
They may have a computer, but no internet. Internet costs accumulate: $20/month x 3years = $720. You can buy a budget computer for that price.
