I have been trying to find a decent free server, and when I saw Web1000 listed I registered. Problem is I assumed that all was well and good. On closer inspection, they say that CGI access has been turned off, and is being fixed or something. :confused2:

Well, I have emailed them twice, with no reply as of yet, so I was wondering if anyone who has an account with them knows when (and if) they are going to turn CGI back on. The only reason I signed up is because I want to host my YaBB. :D

Another thing, they are testing a free forum that comes with the account, and I was inspecting this as well, low and behold, it was YaBB! At first I thought I would trash mine, and use this one, but then I found you can't customize it with the special modifications that are available for the original YaBB. Also, it has the usual 'Sponsored by Web 1000' plastered all over it. So I decided that I would keep my own board and install it when CGI comes back online, if it does that is... :( Any info is of course appreciated! Thanks, and bubye! :classic2:
