I got a virus that just got out today :mad:

Nortan has a whole thing on it here (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.h@mm.html)

It goes and infects all sorts of files and disables most of the anti-virus program...

Macafee announced this a few days ago and I got the updates for it already.

Does Norton have an email notification of new viruses? If so, I suggest you subscribe to it.

Well I think it was for the best, because now I get to fdisc and I'm now getting WinXP... So get rid of all of my current junk with fdisk and get a new windows, what could I ask for more (other than a new computer all together :))

i think that should be a catagrary 4 virus, u should see how many people are infected with it on the online virus scan.

if u get norton 2002 that checks for new virus updates everytime you go online so you are always protected

I have Norton but some viruses it tells me that "Can't repair or delete, Access Denied etc." even I have the latest updates. Do you know any better software ?

you have to restart your computer in safe mode!

Yeah...

But now the virus is gone, there is still 200 or so files that are infected as proof of it's damage... But I get XP tomorrow so nothing to worry :D:D:D
