f2s and .exe .zip solution

In my search for a free host I thought f2s was a solution. But as stated in the TOS they do not allow .mp3 .exe files :(
As I would like to be able to use these file types because I create music (mostly midi, sometimes .mp3), and graphics (can be downloaded as .zip files).
It's a pity because f2s gave me almost all I needed.

I think they didn't make it clear in the TOS. I'm pretty sure they mean no storage. If you have a small website with a few files it should be fine. I think asben uses F2S as his download site for his program on download.com. I'm sure that they'll have no problem with it. You could always ask about it on their forums.

I heve found these restrictions in the TOS point h: "You agree not to use the Freedom To Surf services to host file repositories, eg the hosting of the following filetypes are not permitted: .mp3 .exe .zip .ra.".

I've also recieved an eail from webgutter. Are they any good?

Right Nick. Guys at f2s.com kept deleting my application (555k zip) so I had to ultimatly link to ZDNet & CNet Downloads.com. Eventually f2s.com has even restricted access to my download folder http://www.port9.f2s.com/apps/Ys2.zip

Its a shame how I can't host a freeware application without paying for the bandwidth. But I guess that's the rule of the jungle!
