i don't think there's such a thing as more free and less free when it comes to free. they're just plain old free.

why is it always down?

the FTP is fast though

i have uploaded an index.html page in my root directory but it won't show in the browser.

That's funny, I don't seem to see any downtime with NBCi user pages.

MAybe, but yesterday the site of Kitty Muzzle http://members.nbci.com/darkartist/ was unreachable. The pages that could be opened loaded very slow, the others gave a 404. :(
