Check out FeaturePrice (http://featureprice.com). They offer unlimited space on they 24$/month plan. They also say that they don't have a limit on bandwith, and this is what they say in there FAQ :P

"Q: I have a high bandwidth website and will be using several dozen gigabytes of data transfer per month. Can I host with your service?

A: If you use that much data transfer, we truly recommend that you wait for our high bandwidth plans which we will release in the next two months. Until then, we recommend that you host your websites with companies whom have a high allowance of data transfer. Please note that companies offering "unlimited" transfer are very likely to shut down your website once they notice it transfers a high amount of data."

At first I thought I wasn't reading this thread properly but its true. I also found this statement on their site.

Do not fool around with web hosting providers with stingy plans - 25, 10 or even 5 megabytes - that's ridiculous. We provide you with a UNLIMITED megabytes of web space with no restrictions and no requirements (note: adult content is strictly prohibited). You are allowed to use 1000 megabytes, 2000 megabytes or more if necessary - may it be for a professional picture archive, a photo gallery, a MP3 website - it does not matter.

That host obviously doesn't know what they are talking about. We all know unlimited doesn't exist but saying two statements which conflict with each other is just plain stupidity. I wouldn't use them.

grrr, I say the government should go sign up for all the hosts that offer unlimited plans and attempt to use them, and when they kick them off press charges. There are to many people getting ripped off by places like that, I have even been ripped off with that. So stay away from that host, they are obviously lying when they say something in there agreement that conflicts with itself.

Good idea, but I doubt that would work. most of the contracts you sign , you pretty much give away your right to sue them.

Yeah but then it is deception, and it is still considered false advertisent. Oh well just stay away from them, I wish I would have had someone tell me that when I first got my website.

OMG you guys are a bunch of freaks. I know it will do no good to go through all the trouble of explaining to you what "unlimited" actually means. You will just ignore it, and continue on talking you're crap. The Warezand Porn Masters are the "Axis of Evil". They are the ones who abuse "unlimited" web space providers. If hosts say "unmetered" you still jump on their case for some reason or another.

Urrgh it just erks me when people do that.

Whether an unlimited host gets abused or not I still wouldn't use them. Why? Because if they get loads of members and they claim to offer unlimited bandwidth and space then they will be messed up because their servers will be very slow. A host that offers unlimited bandwidth and space would also get lots of complaints probably due to full hard drives and slow loading times. Its impossible to run a host without limits. Anyone who thinks it is possible should really look at the facts and reconsider their decision.

No anything the politicial party I founded (The party of the good) doesn't like is on the "axis of evil".

This includes:
Unlimited or Unmetered hosts
downtime
france
extreme fundementalists
inflation

and a variety of other things.

Unlimited As Taken From Dictionary.Com

Having no restrictions or controls: an unlimited travel ticket.

That To Me Means, that there is no limit, meaning you can use as much as you want.

Having no boundaries; infinite: an unlimited horizon.

Also means to me, as much as you feel lke using, again no limits whatsoever.

Without qualification or exception; absolute: unlimited self-confidence

No exeptions on what you can use.

So that explains what unlimited is, meaning there is no limit, but these hosting companys seem to have their own definition of unlimited, and they will not provide you with unlimited usage.

So archangemon you go get a dictionary, and tell us what unlimited means, i dont want point of veiws, or what you think it means, i want things taken from dictionarys. If you find a dictionary that says, unlimited - no limits within reason, then post it, but i dont think you will.

Agreed! :classic2:

We are not going to stop hosts "offering" it, nor will all your objections stop them.
