MTU and internet speeds

anyone know anything about this? I heard that u can change ur MTU (in the registry? :O) to make ur internet speed faster even slower if u want, so I was wondering if anyone know how to do so and how to make it so that u cant download faster than 5kb/sec :D

Just download one of those internet speed optimizer programs, they do that, but im telling you, it does NO noticable difference.

no wat I want to do is make it slower, cos mah internet is capped and my sister's keep d/l alot of stuff at a time and I ghey real ghey speeds :angry2: the weed killer didnt work.....
