They have instructions and drivers that should work for you.

Try re-installing the driver. Then make sure it is all connected properly and then try. Everyone I know has problems with scanners! That is odd that XP doesn't recognize it in the first place

Don't install the old drivers. try the new ones, does XP automatically assign a driver it should. Try using that one. You should always try avoid installing win 9X drivers on 2k and XP they are completly differen OS's and it is doubtful that it will work

Sounds like it could be a hardware problem, does the scanner stop scanning and the computer doesn't read it, or does the scanner get caught on something. See if you can take it in for warranty work or something

sorry  Umm, I guess all I can say is see if it works on another computer with a different OS, if it still doesn't take it back

Disconnect the scanner from your computer, remove ALL of the drivers for it then turn your system OFF. Restart and let it boot fully into XP, then plug the scanner in. Let XP find and assign the drivers for it.
