its nice, when there are alot of posts on a page and you need to point something out, all you do is copy the link

nice, but when you click the post link the post is at the bottom of the screen. I would prefer the top of the screen.

I normally don't add any hacks if it changes any templates, but I'll think about this one and others suggested to me lately.

Peo meant that when you click the link, the link for the post is displayed at the bottom, he wants it at the top so it's easier to be read.

puts a little link with the post number and the post url Virtually useless. All you have to do is scroll down. It'll be better if it acts like a favourite post or something.

:confused: I don't see that the link is displayed anywhere else than in the address field and the status bar.
The post is displayed at the top but it seems like it takes two clicks sometimes. It's just an usual anchor after all.

it doesnt create a new posts, it just tells teh number of the post and a url to it

Who says it creates new posts? :p
I say the post it links to is displayed at the top as it always is with a #name but something in the sample page makes it necessary to click twice sometimes.

If you view source for this page you'll see this just before your name to the left in the post you just made.
<a name=post253866>

That's what it links to:

We use it all the time here too. It would be handy if one didn't have to look for it though.
