if you want to drop the PHP go with www.web1000.com
They give you domain hosting, pre-installed cgi, preinstalled YABB forum, 50mb space and unmetered bandwidth.
Oh and NO ADS!
Not to mention 10 different ftp servers.

Oh yeah, and also one of the crappiest hosts ever. :mad:

I recommend http://www.portland.co.uk/ , even though they only offer 15 MB. Despite their patheticness, they are still a few hundred times better than Web1000.

conkermaniac, how is Web1000 crappy?
I've been using them for a bout a week or so and have had no problems whatsoever.
But you seem to know more about hosting than I so please explain what makes them such a poor host.
