My dad met Newt Gingrich. He sat next to him on a plane and never knew that it was newt gingrich. (Former speaker of the house. But he still was when this happened.) When they parked the plane and they let noone but him and a bunch of bodyguards get off, he asked the bodyguards who this guy he sat next to was, and they told them. I met Evan and Jaron (stupid boy band)'s dentist and go to their school.

He is a great conservative and is coming back to politics after a fall out of some sort some years ago. Great politican.

BTW, Videla was released from court custody because of the backwardness of the court system... he was responsible for the death and disappearances of thousands and I saw him in a steak house.

Caroline Rhea sat beside me on a plane once, from Raleigh to Philadelphia I think it was. She's only been on a few TV shows so I don't guess she's famous famous... and I don't suppose a plane is all that unusual... but that's all I've got other than just spotting someone in passing.

Reagan waved at me, but that was years ago.

I have met(or seen from a distance of less than 10mt) these famous persons (not necessary important, just famous:D ) . Nicolas Cage, Madonna, Phil Collins, Berlusconi :devious2: , Maradonna and some others. The most of the famous people I've met or seen , I've seen them in Milan or in various islands of the Mediterranean. AH! Forget to note I've met and seen many top models as I have a friend who is an official photographer for a fashion magazine in Milan. So..you understand.

edit : sorry, I haven't noticed the "odd place" part (although I don't really know what odd means)

I am going to meet Berlusconi when I go on vacation to Italy when on vacation from College, when my parents are living there.

I also want to meet Le Pen.... I don't know french, so maybe I will get somebody to translate so we can share political beliefs.

Sorry, for the off topic note but I have to do it : Giancarlo if you present yourself to Le Pen without knowing(speaking) French...I think you'll break your face. And please this is just a meaningful joke, doesn't mean that I provoke you....back to the topic now (sorry again for the offtopic note)

He hates the EU and I hate the EU. He hates illegal immigration and I hate illegal immigration. I support the death penalty, and he supports the death penalty. I am from Spain and he is from France. Traditionally the right-wing from Spain has strong ties to those in France.

Sorry, but you are incorrect. Anyways back to topic.

I will push this back to topic:

I met Tom Arnold before.... from True Lies... at Planet Hollywood... nothing too strange about that... except the fact I was just walking to a table and ran into him. We talked a bit and I got an autograph.

I was checking out some paintings at the old J. Paul Getty museum (they built a new one) and the guy standing next to me looking at the paintings was David Bowie. Kinda surprised me and we didn't talk much as I think I was just confused (and probably looked it).

Others... hmmm.. can't think of anyone off the top of my head, but I live in L.A. so there's been a few sightings, but no 'hanging out' with heh...

David Bowie is cool... I have many of his CDs...

I will say this again one surprise I can't go over is sitting in the same area where there was a man who was responsible for the deaths of thousands... Videla... ugh...

I met Russell Crowe in Ecuador while he was in the Swissotel... I talked with him for twenty five minutes because the US government was renting out the Presidental Suite for my family and Russell Crowe had the other Presidental Suite. (This was when he was making the movie "Proof of Life", I wanted to be an extra but had too much school work) I also met Jimmy Carter at the Swissotel in Ecuador... friendly person, but not a good president.

Just remembered...

If you want to meet famous people, an easy place is those golf tournaments. Forgot about this before, but I've met all sorts at those (Sammy Davis Jr., Gerald Ford, various baseball players (go figure, at a golf tournament), Gordie Howe (doubt many of you know him, he was from the Hartford Whalers, I grew up in CT), and a bunch more. Golf tournaments are an easy place to mob and stalk your favorite celebs.

That and those public fundraisers, charity events, marathons, etc., any place where celebs go to try to shake off that image of their recent arrest for drug posession / other arrest, heh.

Their punishment is that they have to withstand hanging out with the 'little people' and signing paper for a whole afternoon. MUH-HAHAHAHAHA.

Airplanes are good too... they got no where to hide. William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and I had a conversation. He seemed old and annoyed. But he had no where to hide!!! MUH-HAHAHAHAHA

I met Former President Bill Clinton in 1992 at Andrew Airfoce Base in Washington. I met, and still continue to meet The Rock from WWF (he goes to the local gym next to my house - Porky's gym in Miami). He lives 2 blocks down from me. I also had the honor of meeting Fonzi (sp?) From Happy Days and Gloria Estfan and Dan Marino (My dad was their photographer). Not to forget I met Mary Ellen Williams, the Treasurer of the United States of America when she came to my school in '99 and Janet Reno who also lives about 5-10 minutes from me. Funny.. she lives behind a Funeral Home.. .she don't gotta travel that far when it's her time. (that's mean)
