a web host (duh) that adheres to the following:
...$10/mth or less
...100 mb space (more would be nice)
...1gb data transfer (see above)
...1 mysql database
...ssh access (very important! i do a lot of perl development, and it's a pain to use ftp for every miniscule change; i also rely heavily on locally installed perl modules)
...vim installed (i hate wasting my quota on editor binaries)
...perl 5.6.x
...pdksh (not required, but nice)
...complete development environment--no chrooted compiler-less pseudo access, please.
...at least 2 pop email addresses
...no partition over 90% full--not being able to reach your website because /var is overflowing, and syslog is freaking out and hanging the system, is annoying.
...*bsd or solaris preferred; linux acceptable
am i expecting too much for my money?
