Wow, it's nice to see how browsers don't seem to support tables back then.

Compared to Netscape 2 it sucked big time! Netscape 2 had tables, forms, frames (I think), colours... lots more than that MSIE2 rubish! Grrrr... ;)

The oldest browser I've ever used was Netscape 1...

This is weird.... use the Mosaic browser and go to http://www.freewebspace.net/ and then place your vote and see the results page. Kinda freaky, because the browser emulator suddenly becomes the browser you're actually using. Go try it out yourself to see...

The browser emulator just changes the HTML coding of the page so it shows like it was shown back then. The actual rendering is still done via the actual browser you are using. The results page may have somehow bypassed the emulator because older browsers may not have supported those buttons you press to enter a vote. (That HTML coding may have slipped by the emulator.)
