need windows media player

i need a working download of any version of windows media playe thats BEFORE 7.0, and it works with 2k... i just cant seem to find any...

How did it die on you? Anyways, just stick your Win2k CD, and maybe there is a setup option for it? Under Multimedia or something? If it's checked, uncheck, then apply, then go back, and check it.

It's called mplayer2.exe, and is in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player .
