I have come across a good deal for an athlon 1/1.1 gig. Which mobo will you recommend? I will be going for PC133 SDRAM and not DDR.

Few of those mobos exist.

Depends on the FSB is it 200mhz or 266mhz?

Edit: The athlon 1.1 is a 200 Mhz FSB

Uh, don't know what to say really... I've never had any problems, no blue screens of death.

I mean .. have you ever overclocked? Good BIOS? Missing features?

Haven't overclocked but the BIOS is very good, don't know of any missing features.

Just buy sum DDR memory , its much better than sdram , here is my mobo very nice

heh i got an amd 1.0 ghz duron on a 200 mhz fsb and i bought a motherboard NEW for 59 dollars its an ecs elitegroup mb you can see the stats at http://www.ecs.com.tw/products/k7s5a.htm it supports 2 sticks of sdram and ddram and it doesnt burn a whole in the pocket it supports all durons and xp's(i think)(meaning 266 fsb too) also and its recommened for the amd duron and xp by amd and toms hardware so i would go with this im sure some store local to you has it

heh hey no problem right now me and my freinds are coding a forum called alienBB and my old computer died so i used 215 dollars(my birthday money)and got a new video card mb and processer also the motherboards a great deal like i said 59 dollars and it runs perfect if you didnt look it has 5 pci 1 amr 1 4x agp internel sound and not video(me i dont care about sound much so the internal sound was a plus)it plays mp3s and games just perfect off the internal sound so im happy
