I want to test my in my own computer. phpbb.
What is the personal webserver that can install and test with MYSQL & PHP?
I mean what is the pws that can run my boad localy for test.

is it Xitmini or something?
pl help me...

Apache, isn't it too hard to configure and install?

I mean i can see i have to do lot of shell stuff with apache?

Any other pws?

apache is the most popular websewrver in the world and its FREE! who says its difficult to edit, just open up the config file with notepad and save!

I belive your refering to Xitami, I'd recomend it, its a little easyer and has a build in control panel. Plus it is compatible with PHP(php.net) and MySQL(mysql.com)

if you think it would be difficult to set up apache with php, mysql and everything just get foxserv like someone already suggested...

I use it on my comp as well as my school intranet.

Does it work? Well i've managed to install & run phpBB properly...

that link works... i donŽknow about phpdev, but the whole purpose of programs like that (php triad, foxserv and so on) is that they come packed with php and mysql so iŽm guessing phpdev does too...
