What are your opinions of this host and its network? They seem like an OK free webhost. Please tell me if you have had any experiences, and whether you liked it or not. It would definitely be helpful to me if you could provide reasons to justify your choice, as well. :)

0catch...i remember trying them out ages ago. a bit average, nothing new to the FWP world. i think the ads were a bit too intrusive...thats my 2 cents :biggrin2:

ok, without opening hotmail causing explorer to do illegal operations lets try posting again
Don't put your site on there because of the following reasons
The servers go down a lot
They deleted free sites beginning with a-k due to what they called "a programming error"
Banner adverts are massive
Popup's are sometimes massive (almost fill my screen size which is 800X600)
Popup's advertise casino's and sometimes porn sites have appeared
The stats are all wrong (eg no of hits in a day)
Bandwith runs out so fast that your site is shut down till midnight, some people have uploaded a few html files to their site they just got and it went down saying it was over the limit (20MB)
Support is not too helpful but is ok (if you ask a question like "do you support cgi or similar you just get a yes or no answer)
The good points are
FTP is normally fast
Other than that, due to most of those reasons above i moved my site to brinkster

i used to use them for another site i used to own and all i had on there was a 20 k file, i uploaded it and then viewed it, tried to refresh and my site was down. And according to what it said i had used all my Bandwith which back in the time was still 70 MB a day.

I used 0Catch a while back for my domain (access-failure.net) and had many problems.
The main one being a problem with DNS. After more than 3 days the DNS had not refreshed properly, and was only working for some people. For example someone just a few miles away from me could view it but I myself would get an error. Same thing happened to friends of mine in other provinces.
Eventually I gave up on 0Catch cause i don't want to worry bout my dns being inconsistent

I used them for like 3 days......average in about everything, but my site was down for like half a day with those 3 days.......so in my opinion.......host.sk is more reliable:biggrin2:
