Yeah I tried to overclock and when I restarted my computer...well it didn't restart all because I messed with the clock speed. Anyway I ended up having to open my puter up and reset the bios with the jumper.

I want to overclock my 950mhz cpu to a 1ghz cpu, just so I can say I have 1ghz. That is all I am trying to accomplish :)!
What is this software you speak of? :D

ECS mobos don't have any overclocking options.
Asus, Abit, Giga-byte, MSI, and most newer mobos do have overclocking capabilities from the bios though.

Just don't go with Soyo if you hate IRQ conflicts...

Yeah I recently had a soyo motherboard it, I had a lot of conflicts with my IRQ because when I record in my studio I use a special sound card that was assigned to the same IRQ as all the others and it would constantly freeze.
Although I have heard good things about the Dragon boards

Yeah Soyo is a great board if they just got their IRQ conflicts resolved. I put in two USB devices (my 10/100 LAN and Lexmark X73), a Video Card and a sound card nothing works. I tried switching everything and I just returned it in the end.
