It seems lately since I got cable, Internet Explorer crashes on me all the time. Now obviously, I don't want to revert back to dial-up just to prevent this from happening anymore, but it is so annoying. Does anyone know what I can do to stop this from happening?

Well, it doesn't go into details on the errors, I just get the message that says "IEXPLORE generated errors and will shut down. You will need to restart the program"

That won't have anything to do with Virus's that is a common problem with all programs on win2k and I am assuming that is your OS. Anyway, when is the last time you updated, that is really important especially with IE if you have the latest version get 5.5 if you have 5.5 get 6.0, and if that does not work then go to...
Start>settings>control Panel>add remove programs>Add/remove windows components> then uncheck IE and hit apply, restart and do the same thing just check IE this time, that should work for you :) And don't be alarmed it won't un-install IE when you unceck it but when you re-check it, it will or should "repair" it

It could be with what/how much/where you surf. IE usually dies at some sites and after I've surfed a while.. then I need to shut down and reboot to get all my tray icons back ;)
I was happy with Netscape until they made it too slow and that always crashed on me too.
... Does anything WORK with XP (I'm running '98, going to upgrade in the near future)?

Don't download porn and you won't! If you take care of your computer you should only have to do that once every year or so
