My Site, and need something.

I just got my apache web server up on my Cablemodem, I can't use port 80 or any other common port, so I am using http://207.175.250.163:8080 and this also works: http://www.psx-dude.net

But this is what I need for a host:
- 50mb+
- PHP/MySQL (not in safe mode)
- FTP
- No ads, or I can insert them, not popups.

Or I can add this:
- FTP on a strange port (8181 or something)
- SSH on a strange port (8282 or something)

Im a bit confused. are you going to run a server directly off of your computer?

If so why do you need a host.

Also a word of advice- if you are going to run a server directly off your computer make sure your cable provider doesnt catch on or there will be trouble.

Well, since you're running the site off your computer, if you want those features you listed (like PHP) then you can go to http://php.net/ and download the file and install it on your pooter. If you want perl, go to http://perl.org/ and do the same.

Unless you want to add ads of your own, I don't think any will pop up or show up on your webpage, 'cause you're running the whole site off your own computer.

BTW, what do you need FTP for?
