I'd hate to say this, but Crosswinds is your only option for stuff like this.

http://www.spaceports.com/ ??? It claims to be unlimited, but you start out with 20 MB. Once you use up your 20MB, you can apply for more space.

It would be tricky with spaceports. You'd have to upload some HTML and whatnot, fill your 20MBs, apply for space, resume the upload, apply for more, resume upload, etc etc etc until you got it uploaded. It would work though if you can stand the 20GB bandwidth.

The type of thing you are looking for isn't to common. So you can expect slow speeds :p.

Those hosts will probably not host a 29meg file.

You could use WinZip/WinRAR/WinAce or something like that to split that 30 meg file into twenty 1.5 meg file fragments. Then many hosts will probably allow them. When the user unzip/rar/ace/whatever's them, set it so that it all appears as one file. It's possible, I've done it before.

The problem with that is your visitors then have to download all 20+ files just to get what you're trying to offer... I hate that!

Actually, that's the only way you can go if you are stuck with free hosting. That's why it's free, you don't get the freedom (excuse the pun) that you would normally get with a paid host.

That AVI could probably be compressed further with Real Encoder, QuickTime or Windows Media.
