What do you guys think about the new InVue ads fastclick offers.

Are they too annoying for the visitors or not?

I haven't added any to my site yet, I was waiting for a bit of feedback from other users first. Maybe try it out on a few pages that don't get a lot of viewers for starters and see how it goes.

That's what I did with the scyscrapers. If you start with them, please report back so we can see if it is worth adding new codes :)

There are problems with skyscrapers because there's not enough campaigns. The default campaigns are showing all the time. :(

And the ctr ratings are also terrible - 10 times lower than with 468 banners.

Skyscrapers are not worth it, their too big anyways, I'll stick to the pop-under instead of invue.

pop under and skycrapper are good! :)
if you have a nice design and a place to put it where it wont spam!

From the fastclick web site:

InVue is a new ad format that floats into view when a user visits your webpage.
The creatives within the floating window are standard sized GIF/JPEG and Rich Media Ads. Campaign frequency caps are usually 7 days, and user frequency caps are 12 hours. Similar to pop-unders, the combination of a well controlled delivery and a fresh new format will minimize the annoyance of your users. IE5 & IE6 are the only supported browsers at this time, but this comprises 93% of our ad deliveries.

I think those ads are extremly cool, I think noone will click them, but cool though. Much less intrusive than popups!

can you make a lot of money with CPM invue ads? they are already loaded so users can't close them automatically before they load just like they do with pop-ups, and it's not as annoying.
and the users don't need to click if it's CPM.
