Upon reviewing oswd.org, I was amazed and frightened at just how BAD these 'wannabe' designers are.

I viewed 50 templates...Good Lord...Most say the same thing..."I was bored...I couldn't sleep...I was stoned"

It reallys shows. They suck! Grey templates? ROTFLMAO

They have 3 categories...Clean (riiight), Flashy (gotta be kiddin') and Stoned(all belong here because they think just because they 'designed' something, it must be great).

Only one showed any hint of imagination. Err...1 out of 50 is really not too good. After looking at those, I just gave up.

Maybe it's because I've been designing most of my life...but when I see trash like this by 20 year old wannabes...it scares me.

After I finish my projects this year, I'm going to start selling templates...as it's the hottest thing going right now. When you stop to think about it, just half of Americans are on the net now. Throw in the rest of the world and you have a bonanza of people who will soon discover that you don't have to be a designer to have a great website.

Templates rock!

aww wellz, they are a good source of only templates that do not contain popup ads everywhere!!!

then goto www.spoono.com and learn how to create a design then..

I'm sorry but that place has really bad templates. I know you can't expect a great site for free but i've seen a lot better templates at places like FreeLayouts.com, FreeWebTemplates.com, and FreeSiteTemplates.com! :rolleyes: Hope that helps. If you want to go with a portal sytem I'd say do with phpnuke or postnuke!

i suppose yes... but those(some) of the layouts there are optimized for portal systems man.. :)
