Does anyone else get an illegal error caused by dibeng.dll? I can go a month without it happening, and then for a couple of days it will happen frequently

I tried the microsoft fix for that error but it doesn't seem to do a thing :cry2:

Thanks cyber, but the only d*.dll files were

d3d8.dll

ddraw.dll

deskcp16.dll

dinput.dll

dinput8.dll

directx2d.dll

disktool.dll 14/4-02

dplay.dll

dshellgenerichook.dll 5/5-02

dsound.dll

I don't think mine is broken as it is a rare occurrence, but when it does it keeps it up for a day or so. Just damned annoying

nope never had a problem with an error caused by dibeng.dll.

Try downloading the fix again from Microsoft website.

I bet it is this problem...

You uninstalled something or deleted something, and at the time you had two of those dll's so there is something somewhere on your computer that has a path to the one you deleted, so it gives you an error when it doesn't find it. Chances are you will never be able to fix it.
