Ad-free}:8) Supermoo February 17th, 2001, 02:36 Where have the ads gone Peo? This forum is now sooooooo fast! :) hehe, I wonder if you could please keep it this way! ;) LeX February 17th, 2001, 10:01 Hey cow..... maybe you didn't notice this? http://www.freewebspace.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=2621 Or did you just had to start a whole new thread? ;) }:8) Supermoo February 19th, 2001, 14:19 I swear it wasn't their before! :( Coolin February 19th, 2001, 20:54 Originally posted by }:8) Supermoo I swear it wasn't their before! :( The opening of Nick's thread: 02-14-2001 09:12 AM The opening of Supermoo's thread: 02-17-2001 01:36 AM Makes you think... }:8) Supermoo February 19th, 2001, 23:15 I did check that before I made my last post, and I'd swear that it wasn't there. Before you claim I swear a lot, read on! ;) Now my idea is that my browser's cache stuffed up, like it frequently does. And I'm sticking to that excuse! :) LeX February 20th, 2001, 06:10 The thread ID speaks the truth... Yours: 2678 Nick's: 2621 How come my browser (IE5.5) never caches it? In fact, it doesn't seem to cache any of the pages, yet I get a bunch of Temporary Internet Files.... }:8) Supermoo February 20th, 2001, 13:53 'cause my browser is stuuupid! ;) Also it's clear that I was second in Coolin's post. Also that odd browser fault happens at other forums too! :( Coolin February 22nd, 2001, 20:01 Hmm... What browser do you use? IE 5.01 works fine here. }:8) Supermoo February 25th, 2001, 13:57 I use IE (5.50.4522.18001S) on Windows 98 SE. Damn Micro$oft, and if I had the money I'd be on a G4... mmmmm... :) Hobbes February 27th, 2001, 23:11 This should be on general, but pokemon.mu ?LOL (mu pronounced like "u" or mew) clever. very very clever. I didn't notice that the ads vanished. wow. lol. They don't bother me unless they have that crazy guy trying to tell me my internet is too slow (right! I'm on cable. it's only slower at night after everyone gets home from work!) Coolin March 2nd, 2001, 14:47 The ads are back. Not totally, but there's a button at the near bottom of every page. Gayowulf March 2nd, 2001, 15:22 Yeah I certainly don't have to click there to get what i want. and how the heck do they know what i want anyways. i think they do it for money, not to make me have what i want. BTW IE 5.01 does NOT work well for me. its a piece of ----. anyways LeX March 2nd, 2001, 22:01 Yup... :( At least it's smaller.... }:8) Supermoo March 5th, 2001, 00:24 IE in general is a load of $H!T :( Coolin March 6th, 2001, 21:57 Actually, I find IE to be a very good browser. Yes, it is extremely bloated. But it does its job better than Netscape. I used to be an avid Netscape fan, but now I feel that IE is a better browser. LeX March 7th, 2001, 03:31 IE is currently the best browser available to us today... hope there will be even better ones soon, 'cause I just hate Micro----, and it feels weird to actually like something of theirs. Canuckkev March 7th, 2001, 19:06 Come on, Opera Rules!!! Coolin March 9th, 2001, 22:52 Opera is nice and fast. But I *hate* it's User Interface. You have to minimize one window before you can look at another window. Also, when it starts up, the screen is all messed up and I have to resize the screen for it to look okay again. LeX March 10th, 2001, 06:28 Opera's adware though. That's just freakin bad... Coolin March 10th, 2001, 14:33 A friend of mine gave me a little program to "fix" that little problem. ;) | ||||
